SmartXide Touch with HiScan DOT/RF

HiScan DOT/RF combines the advantage of microablative laser treatment with RF energy. Thanks to this scanner tailored treatments to each patients’ needs are possible, since it guarantees maximum flexibility.

SmartXide Touch DOT/RF Advanced Laser Source

The core of Smartxide Touch laser is an RF CO₂ source empowered by PSD® technology that can produce fractional laser pulses with variable pulse shapes, duration, energy and peak powers.

These pulses can either modulate the ablation and the coagulation (thermal effect) in order to adapt any emission to specific treatments in both different fields (dermatology, gynecology and surgery) and skin type.

Ablation: The high-peak power delivered in the first part of the pulse releases a great amount of energy very rapidly and causes immediate ablation of the epidermis and the topmost skin layers.
Thermal Effect: Following the ablation, the CO₂ laser energy is transformed into heat which propagates deep down in the dermis, producing an immediate “shrinkage” of the tissues and stimulating new collagen production.

Bipolar Radiofrequency

The special spacers emit bipolar RF to generate selective heating with a deep and localized action on the skin.

Radiofrequency enhances the effects of CO₂ laser treatment by:

  • Remodeling tissue in-depth

  • Toning flabbiness

  • Stimulating fibroblastic activity to produce new collagen

  • This results in quicker recovery time and acceleration of dermal tissues healing

Radiofrequency power emission can be regulated from 0 to 50 W.


SmartStack Function

Thanks to the SmartStack Function, it is possible to perform a number of subsequent pulses in the same area (DOT) ranging from 1 to 5.
