Today's skin tightening treatments do not require cosmetic surgery or use of fillers. With its leading-edge technologies DEKA stimulates collagen achieving non-invasive or minimally invasive firming with no side effects.

To avoid the undesirable side-effects of surgical lifting and filler injections, DEKA developed a wide range of systems for skin tightening, exploiting different techniques and sources.

Nd:YAG laser, CO₂ and Coolwaves® (innovative microwaves developed by DEKA) are the main sources aimed at stimulating endogenous collagen to restore compactness and tightness in the skin. Depending on the chosen method, variable levels of skin tightening can be achieved, with a significant reduction in skin laxity and improvement in texture.

How it Works

The action consists of a selective denaturation of the collagen fibers in the derma and subsequent production of new collagen (neocollagenegenesis). Energy (laser, light or microwaves) in the form of heat produces a deep, uniform heating action, provoking an immediate shrinkage of the collagen fibers and, at the same time, stimulates the fibroblasts to produce brand new young collagen after the treatment up to several months.
